Kvitova, Azarenka, Huber and Raymond will Play in Istanbul

2011 Wimbledon single's champ, Petra Kvitova and 2011 Sony Ericsson single's winner, Victoria Azarenka qualified Oct. 1 for the TEB-BNP Paribas WTA Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
¡¡¡¡The WTA also announced the 2011 U.S. Open double's winners, Liezel Huberand Lisa Raymond qualified for the TEB-BNP Paribas WTA Championships.
¡¡¡¡"All of these players had terrific seasons with historic achievements and numerous accolades and a trip to Istanbul is a great way to end a memorable year," said Stacey Allaster, Chairman and CEO of the WTA in a WTA press release.
¡¡¡¡Besides winning a Grand Slam earlier in the season, Kvitova, the 21-year-old Czech player, has taken titles in the Brisbane International, the Open GDF SUEZ and the Mutua Madrid Open.
¡¡¡¡This will be Azarenka's third time in a row competing in this tournament. This year, she enters ranked as the No. 3 WTA player.
¡¡¡¡Huber and Raymond, both U.S. double's players, have earned 120 double's titles and 11 Grand Slams in total. 2011 will be Raymond's eleventh time at the TEB-BNP Paribas WTA Championships.
¡¡¡¡The world's top eight singles players and top four doubles team will be competing in this end of the year competition, for a total of million in prize money. The TEB-BNP Paribas WTA will be hosted at the Sinan Erdem Arena in Istanbul starting Oct. 25.
