Statement about the match: It was very nice to come back here and play on center court. It was a very emotional match for me. It's great to be back again and play this Olympic Stadium. Glad it all worked out today, had a good win, and a good first round. Very special place for me and I'm trying to do well here.

Q: After such a close first set, how did you turn it around with all that energy?

A; I think we had a very long rally when she was serving at 4-2, and I was able to win this point and turn the game around. But it was quite difficult. She has a great serve, so it was difficult to turn around but it gave me a lot of confidence. It was not easy to come back from being down 4-2.

Q: Every time your mom watches your match, she is a little bit nervous especially on some important points. Does this affect your game? What did you say to her after the match?

A: For every parent, it's very emotional to watch their kids playing. For sure she is very nervous during the match, sometimes too nervous. But I'm sure it's difficult. But it's only positive energy, supporting me, so I know sometimes it's tough for her but she's a very big supporter.
